Can you use Windows Game Bar DVR to record native ultrawide?

I wanted to switch from Nvidia ShadowPlay to the Game Bar DVR since the interface is much smoother to use and faster to launch (especially since it added a FPS counter, it's pretty much feature complete for me).

But the quality isn't there: even when picking the highest quality in the options, my 2560x1080p ultrawide monitor gets recorded and downscaled to 1920x822 which is a huge hit in quality.

Is there anyway of removing that limit? My PC can handle the extra load.

If not, I really wish the Xbox team can implement a proper native resolution recording for ultrawide monitors.

That's good an all but it doesn't allow for what I asked. When selecting the highest quality available, it doesn't use native resolution, but caps at 1920 horizontal resolution, which is still a huge downscaling from my 2560*1080p display.

I guess I'll make the suggestion on the subreddit.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The Windows logo key + G on a Windows 10 PC will open the game bar. Is the game bar not showing up on the screen when those buttons are pressed? The article entitled
