Can you use touchscreen controls on remote play?

No. Only games which have been given touch screen support can be played from the Cloud gaming service. All you are doing is streaming your game from your console, using the remote play feature. So you will need a bluetooth controller to play on your mobile or tablet.

Seems like a missed opportunity, ideally I'd like to purchase the game and continue playing it, but I'd be better off just moving on and playing fm24 when it replaces fm23.

Sadly, no. You would need a controller if you do remote play as touch control is only available on cloud gaming if you have game pass Ultimate.

[/quote]I don't like the satellite remotes...they're not touchscreen and not one button operational. i.e., I press Play XBox 360, and it turns on the receiver, sets the input for XBox 360, turns on the TV and sets the input for 360 and turns on the 360 itself.
Press the power button, and it turns it all off. Same for satellite and PS3. And it controls my ceiling fan and thermostat....that's technology at work the way I want it to personally work.
