Can you use apple studio display as a display for your Xbox one ?

Have you tried resetting your the display settings on your Xbox One? To reset your display, power off your Xbox One fully, then hold down the power button and the eject button until your hear two beeps. Once the second beep is heard you can let go of the buttons
and the display should be reset. Let us know if that helps

The HDMI connection on a laptop is usually an HDMI out connection, meaning it can connect to another display, but not become another display.

The only way you could use the laptop as a display for your Xbox, is to stream the game from your Xbox, by using the Xbox Console Companion app on your laptop.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. Just depends on how low your TV's resolution is. The Xbox One can handle various different Resolutions but it will not display anything lower than 720p.

Sorry for the issue with your display. You can try the
display troubleshooter. Also you may want to try a different HDMI cable and port on the TV.
