There are 2 places you can update your phone number. You can update your phone number from your security information page here. You can also update your Phone number from

your billing information here.

I would update both phone numbers to be sure

If you have a subscription, be it Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Live Gold or any other subscription you have active, please deactivate automatic membership renewal as follows (if you already have automatic renewal deactivated then activate it and then deactivate it again):

1 - Go to the services and subscriptions page and make sure you are signed in to the account where you want to cancel automatic renewal:

2 - On the subscription you want to cancel automatic renewal, select "Manage" and then "Cancel automatic renewal".
