    Can you transfer Sims Packs from counsel to counsel?


    Hey!

    I just bought my own Xbox after sharing one with my family for quite some time. The only game I really play is the Sims 4, and me and my mom have bought A LOT of the packs on there. I thought I wouldn’t be able to transfer the packs and I took losses but once I opened the game on my account it let me download the packs I already had, that we bought on my account. Seeing this I got excited and logged into my moms account and downloaded all the packs we bought on her account, however after I switched back to my account I couldn’t access any of those games that I had just downloaded. So I’m asking, are packs transferable through accounts? I’m asking this because I played all the packs we bought on the old Xbox on my account, even the ones we bought on her account, I’m just curious if accessing those packs is possible because I don’t really want to start all over again on buying my own packs.

    No, you would have to place your mother's account that indicates you have the packs as Home Xbox on the console you plan to use, in this way you will have access to those packs from your profile where you already own the rest.

    Okay so if I switch my console to the home Xbox, I’ll have access to all the packs I used to have, including the ones bought on my moms account?

    If so once the packs are done installing or something, if I switch the console back does that all disappear?

    You have to leave it configured as Home Xbox on that console, if you change it you lose the use of the packs shared from that account, in addition to exhausting the 5 changes you have in a period of 12 months

    Of course, an account can only be set to primary or Home Xbox on 1 console and only on that is where any profile will be able to use the content purchased on that designated account. Your mom in this case will only be able to use the ones purchased on your account unless you play on the console that you will designate as the main one.

    If I switch this console to my home Xbox will that affect anything on the current home Xbox, will my mom still be able to play all the packs or just the ones on her account?
