    Can you transfer games between an external and internal?


    Is there a way to properly transfer any game from my external D drive to my internal C drive? Anytime I've tried to do this the Xbox application just tells me to reinstall it rather than attempting to verify.

    hi - you can move all of your internal games contents and apps onto an external drive (subject to space). there will still be some contents on your internal such as the operating system. if power is interrupted or the drive is disconnected you will just
    need to plug it back in and it will work OK. Transfers dont take long between drives as usb3 is quite fast.

    I understand. But in order for you to play the games, they need to be on the internal storage. While you can store these games on external drives, you will need to transfer them to the internal drive or expansion card in order to play them.
