Can you switch out game versions?

My Homie gifted me final fantasy XV but he accidentally bought the windows version (im not sure if thats whats effecting me from not being able to start it up) and i only play on xbox so it wont let me load into the game and it kicks me out. is there anyway microsoft could switch it to a console version or at least give my friend a refund

Regarding download caps:

I have a download cap on my internet, but when I exceed it they don't just shut off my internet. They start to "throttle" a selected list of "high volume" types of internet traffic. So far I've noticed them throttle Youtube and Bittorrent, but not Netflix.
I've never had them shut off my internet or anything when I hit the cap.

Well the other benefit is supposedly you can sign on on any xbox one and have access to your digital library.

I am conflicted with the whole disc vs digital. I am not that lazy that I cannot pop in a disc but I want all the benefits of the digital games.

Meh if I can get the games I want at best buy in disc I will get them otherwise I will give digital a go

Well, I tried a DS4 today at a local Target and, while it's better than the DS3, it's still no big deal IMO. It also seemed too small to be comfortable. I guess I get the hype for PS fans since they have had to put up with the garbage DS3 for nearly a
decade... anything must seem like a huge improvement. Oh, and I have to say this because it's such a joke IMO, some of the light bar functionality is ridiculous. They tout, for example, that it will change colors and/or flash when you are hurt. This makes
no sense since how could you even see the light bar while playing? I don't know how many times I've seen this mentioned as one of the big new additions. But hey... WOW! Lol

Let's say you have Forza 5 in the tray, you can pause, go to an app go back fine.

The moment you say "Xbox go to Dead Rising 3", it'll say put the disc in the tray (if its a non-digital version).
