    Can you retrieve more recent cloud saves somehow?


    Starfield cloud won't upload properly. I play on mobile and always save and exit properly through the app. When I try to play at later time, I get a sync error and it forces me to use an older save to play. I lost 8 hours worth of play today and it's really frustrating. Can I get my more recent save back or do I just have to deal with it?

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with save data. If you launched the game and you are now level 1. It is most likely the cloud save is saved as that also. Unfortunately, somehow the cloud save became corrupt or overwritten. As cloud saves
    do not save multiple saves, they overwrite each other. You can reach out to the developer and see if they are able to retrieve the old save somehow. As they are able to access the game server.

    Hi Dragons,

    Thanks for the update on the issue. With this issue it is possible the old save became corrupt. To test this you can clear local save data. This will force game to retrieve your cloud save. If the cloud save is at the beginning there isn't away to retrieve
    it unfortunately. To clear local save go to settings>system>storage>clear local save.

    Try this and let us know.

    If you overwrite your cloud save data I don't think it would be possible to retrieve an old save from the cloud. sorry
