Can you replace the disc game with a download game and keep same info

I bought Forza 5 disc, and love it so much, having to stop to reload the disc because my wife either put a video or another game in the player is too much. Can I sell my current disc, then download a new Forza 5, and keep the same info? My cars, I have an
F1 for $2mil credits, and videos and such.

In that case the disc is damaged and you should replace it

If you have a replacement plan from the store where you purchased the discs you can exchange it there.

If it's a Microsoft published game, you can try their disc replacement option. Details on the 360 games can be found

here and info on the Xbox One games can be found here.

Otherwise you will need to see if the game publisher will replace it or repurchase the games - either disc or digital to complete the install.

 

Hi ArchSquash1675, yes you can sell the disc, then download a new Forza 5 and keep all your same info, such as your save, your cars and anything else you might have on the game too.

Follow up process question I just thought about. If I'm taking this down to Gamestop or something, do I need to delete the game from my system first, or do I just do a download over the top of the disc?

You would have to delete the installation from the disc and then download it from the marketplace.

 

Actually you can download over the disc installation, you would just download the license for it to work on your console.
