Can you play Xbox One exclusive games on PC without an Xbox

Well first off, if the game is marked "xbox one exclusive", that means that the title is specifically made
for the xbox one, and not for other platforms. It might help to have an xbox to play xbox exclusive titles.

I'm not sure if it says Xbox One exclusive, as it is on the Playstation as well. I was just using that to describe it. I was wondering if its possible to use Xbox anywhere without actually having it installed on an xbox, because I read somewhere that you
can use Xbox anywhere without the xbox even being plugged in.

I agree I can play all the games on my PC with the same graphics but I want Xbox exclusives, not that i'm getting a Xbox one X but there should be exclusives.

Although I do agree that if Microsoft are not to bring out any exclusives or is a good feeling to know that you are paying 499 dollars for the best console out there and the games you play will be in better quality.

Hum.....Microsoft makes money with one software : Windows.

If Xbox exclusives were consoles sellers there will be over 40 million Xbox one sold.

Bringing Xbox exclusives on PC won't make any differences.

It won't bring much more new PC gamers to play these "exclusives".

PC and console gamers,can saves some money by not buying Xbox console anymore.

And console gamers can still buy and play on consoles.

It's a draw.(at best)

Really don't see where or how Microsoft can win something

But at least,they didn't spent ressources to create new IP's for the PC communiy.Bringing Xbox exclusives on PC was the cheapest way.

I agree. But exclusives, like them or not, sell a platform to most people. Think of this:

I could buy and Xbox One. And play my first and third party games here. Or, at least with the future Xbox One first party exclusives, I could play those on PC and just stick to a PS4. The PS4 does have several exclusives that lead to me getting the console.
Without those, no need for that console as I had an Xbox One. But now I will be able to play Gears, Forza, Halo, and the MS titles like that on PC. Then just use the PS4 for any console games that I want (mostly those exclusives). Really, I wish they were
all NOT exclusive. PC has exclusive games that do not come to console as well.

I am very interested to see how this whole Xbox games on PC plays out. And it is a sales thing. I do not care about sales except in the terms of the way if effects getting games. If the Xbox brand slows (same with any brand, see WiiU) then the games might
just slow. More exclusives to another console and then the feedback mechanism kicks in. Going to be very interesting.

As for Dead Rising, I did like the first 3. I played the 3rd a little on Xbox and let a guy I know have it because he has health issues and cannot buy games. I have a sealed copy of the apocalypse edition for the One but I have the game on Steam so I finished
it there. Still might play 3 on the One soon. Going to wait on this one, probably, and just get it on PC.
