Can you play a copy of Prototype (Xbox 360 version) on Xbox one?

If the game is region free you should have no issues with playing it. However, can I recommend ordering a digital copy of the game? If you purchase a digital copy on a 360 (if you have one) you can upgrade to the Xbox One version of the game for free.
That way you'd have two copies of the game that you can play and earn achievements on.

Games are still being added to backwards compatibility as far as i know, but if you would like to see a game added, you will need to contact the developers your self.

You can not play Xbox One games one Xbox 360, you will need to buy a copy of the Xbox 360 version of GTA V to play on your Xbox 360.

Unfortunately you can not. Because the copy you purchased is the Xbox One version of the game and is different from the Xbox 360 version of the game, even thought their the same game, they are different versions.

The Xbox 360 version of Skyrim will not work on an Xbox One.

As when Skyrim was released two separate versions of the game were made available, one version for the Xbox 360 and one version for the Xbox One.

well they were giving copies away for people that had all DLC for free. I just bought 360 version for $8 yet it wont get me an xbox one version. I got a free copy on PC but my PC has to play it in the lowest settings to run it. you think if they sell them
both for the same price they have something decent to unlock it on your console.
