    Can you play 1080 on a 4k monitor?


    So I need to buy a new monitor, and I plan on buying the new Xbox at the end of the year. So I was thinking of buying a 4k monitor now. But not sure if playing games at 1080 on a 4k monit monitor distort the image or effect fps or response time.

    4k with a "Graphics Amplifier"! Lol.

    Don't you have to have a tv or monitor capable of 4k? What good is a console capable of 4k if your tv is only 1080?

    Go for it, I've had my one X for just over a year now and still running it on a 1080 monitor, but looking forward to when I upgrade to the 4k monitor
