    Can you obtain the difference between a full price game and sale price?


    If the original purchase was just before a sale? We don't have Black Friday in New Zealand so the Sale snuck up on me.

    Xbox Gold Killer Instinct Sale Question (20+20=40)

    It seems to me that Microsoft is making it so that you can upgrade versions without having to pay full price for both, but just the difference in price between the two.

    You would have to try contacting support to see if they can refund you for the original purchase so you can repurchase it on sale. However, there is no guarantee you would receive a refund. Contact Us | Xbox Support

    No. There's no way to pay only the difference between the games. You would have to pay the full price or wait for it to go on sale.
