Can you help be sign-in with a different account?

Hi! My name is Ben a fellow member here in the community, not a Microsoft employee. Hope you are doing well!

Just to confirm, are you playing the game via Windows PC or an Xbox console? For Windows PC, I found a similar post in one of Sea of Thieves community to check whether you still have your old account signed in elsewhere.

1. Go to your add/remove programs list, clicking on all the xbox related ones (xbox, xbox live, xbox insider etc) and on each one clicking advanced options, reset.

2. then open the Xbox app and signing in?

3. can always try signing out of the Windows store and signing back in with the other account (possibly run 'wsreset' too?)

4. Press the Windows key + R then paste the command wsreset

Hi Shawn!

If that's the only game you're having trouble signing in with your Microsoft account, that must be an in-game issue specific to that particular game. I suggest that you instead contact directly the game support for further assistance so they can investigate the issue properly. You may submit your ticket through https://support.seaofthieves.com/requests/new

I have done all of these steps and it does not help, because when I try to sign out and login with another account it pop up with this, and when I click sign in with a different Microsoft account it infinitely pops up to log in to my account that was hacked and never been recovered. Also I launch the game through steam.

I have removed it but it's still trying to log me back into my hacked account, and will not let me sign in with another account.

Sorry about that! I am afraid I am out of ideas but I'll release this question for other members or experts to share their knowledge about the issue to see if we can find a fix.
