Can you get games from other people/profiles when network transferring?

Are you able to own games from someone else when network transferring? In my case my brother and I don’t want to keep buying games twice.

Just share gold with each other that should sort you problem its simple to do

Network Transfer only allows the duplication of games from one Xbox One to another on the same local network. It does not affect the licensing of the titles, which are still tied to one and only one Microsoft account.

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox forums. I understand you and brother would like to share games. You won't be able to own someone else's digital purchases. I recommend to try the game sharing feature on the Xbox One.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. This may be due to you are wireless. The other thing you can do which is the same thing basically. Is download your profile onto the Xbox one X. Then install the games from ready to install. This is the same
as it will have to install by network transfer or downloading from the internet. You can also check the

guide for network transfer make sure everything is in order

You can use the network transfer option to transfer your content from one to the other. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/enable-network-game-transfer-xbox-one
As far as the Home Xbox setting when you set your new console to your home xbox it will be removed from the old console.
