    Can you fully disable the snap feature?


    Every time i press the middle button on any of my xbox controllers it snaps an app im only pressing the button once i wanna turn off the snap feature cause its really starting to annoy me does anyone know if its possible?

    Can Snap be disabled?

    Any way i can permanently disable snap? Cos it seriously is starting to get on my nerves.

    Snap update

    I don't think you can disable snap. What you can do is go to your dashboard, hover over the game DVR and press start. It should give you the option to go full screen.

    You can't disable the snap app.

    When you press the Xbox button what are you expecting? For it to go to Dashboard?

    What app is it snapping for you? Is it the Achievements app?

    Try the following:

    Load any full screen game

    Press the Xbox Button, if it snaps an app, highlight the snapped application

    Press the MENU button (3 lines where START used to be on Xbox 360)

    Select Go Full Screen

    When the application goes full screen

    Press the Xbox Button

    It should take you back to the Dashboard, then just load your game of choice and now apps shouldn't snap unless you tell them to.

    Snap can not be disabled at all. The best thing to do is just not use it.

    Yeah, Skype doesn't support being snapped to the right side of the screen just yet - FAQ on the app information page says it's being worked on for release in a future update. For those apps that do fully support the Snap feature - if you wanted to switch
    between the two, all you'd have to do is either say "Xbox, switch" or double tap the Xbox button on your controller.

    If you want to know what applications can be snapped, go to "My Games & Apps", select the Snap app, and it should display any items that you're able to snap.

    @KALEEF Not yet, you can snap the Activity feed and the new snap feature of snapping achievements is quite cool though.
