Can you from Digital to disk? If so how?

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about the data on your console.

All of your save data is automatically, and periodically saved to the
Cloud storage which happens to be attached to your account. This means that as long as you were connected to the internet the last time you played your game, you will be able to pick up from the that spot if you decide to play on another console.

Any games that you have purchased digitally are attached to your account. If something were to happen to your console, you would still be able to download those games again and pick up where you left off, as long as you are signed into the account that purchased
these titles.

I hope this was able to clarify any confusion this might have caused.

On XBox One, you can attach a standard USB HDD to the XBox and use that to store games or to copy games to so you have a backup copy or if you want to bring the game to a friends house and play it there. I'd recommend only USB 3 drives, and the larger the
better. Search up USB 3 2TB to get you started.

As of this reply, a 5TB drive at best buy in the US can be had for $110 and a 2TB for $70.

When connected, and configured to store games, the X-Box will erase the drive. If this is not a new drive, you will lose any data that was previously on it.

The fastest USB drive is an external SSD, but it will be much more expensive with a 2TB being $450, again at best buy as of this reply.

If you use a USB 3 SSD drive with your Xbox One, you will have the additional benefit of improved game performance as the games will load much faster versus storing them on the internal drive.

As noted above, you can use this method to play your games on another Xbox One, however that Xbox must be connected to the Internet and you will be required to login to your xbox.live.com account in order to play them. The purpose for this method is to
avoid the need to download the entire game again, especially on slow connections.

I have one more question if Something happens to my console, the games that downloaded on here would the data be lost forever?

No...... I just didn't want to lose data if something happened to the console

Not possible. Why do you need them on disk? Do you have slow download speeds where you are?
