Can you fix Minecraff Split Screen?

Hi there, my Minecraft copy on the Xbox Series S has suddenly stopped working with the 2 player Split Screen. I have a 1080 p display so that won't be the problem. It was working fine the day before and now it won't work. I have tried changing the batteries and connecting a different controller instead of the one I was using but that did no help. I am asking if there is a quick and easy solution to this so I can play Split screen again.

Thanks for confirming. Here's something you can try: When creating or loading the Minecraft world you want to play split screen, go to the Multiplayer tab in the side bar and disable 'Multiplayer game'. Then load the world and attempt to join with the second controller.

If it doesn't work, try deleting and reinstalling the game (This won't delete any saved worlds as they are backed up in the cloud). Have you tested if split screen works in any other games? Also, make sure the second controller is signed into an Xbox profile.

Yes, Split screen works in other games that support it.

You can change it to a fixed split screen if you don't like the dynamic one.

I have the same problem when playing split screen. I can't access inventory, but my second player can. I did find that you can use a chest and that inventory works fine. Hopefully they will fix this soon. Makes it hard to play split screen.
