No. You would either have to buy the game to play it without a subscription or continue the subscription in order to keep playing.

Anything you download from Game Pass, you can play while it's on Game Pass and while you have a subscription. Once it's removed from Game Pass or your subscription expires, you cannot play the game unless you purchase them game. If you purchase a game
while it's on Game Pass, you do get a discount on the game and you can continue playing it after your subscription ends or it leaves Game Pass.

Did you actually purchase it or just install it through Game Pass? You can only access Game Pass games while you have a subscription and while the game is still on Game Pass. When your subscription ends, you can only play the game if you purchased it.

You still need a subscription to play online. Xbox Live still exists, it's simply been renamed to Xbox Game Pass. There are two flavours of Game Pass. Core and Ultimate.

Core is the standard subscription which allows you to play online and download a small selection of games for free.

Ultimate is the full Game pass experience with both online play and a downloadable library of over 100+ games. It also includes Xbox Cloud gaming.

You can still buy and activate the old Xbox Live subscription codes online or from stores. When redeemed, they will automatically convert to Game Pass Core.
