    Can you block the ability to download internet apps?


    How do you completely block the downloading of any apps you don't want on your XBOX? Or at least require the parental passcode for permission to download?

    Digital downloads

    If I digitally download a game will I have the ability to play the campaign if my internet network is down and can not connect to xbox live.

    Is a live subscription required for downloading game patches

    I believe you should be able to still download updates seeing as hw you are still connected to the internet. LIVE subscriptions (or lack there of) shouldn't affect that ability...

    the sign in button doesn't work on xbox.com

    Hi there,

    As mentioned previously, you will need to try a different device since xbox.com is not reported to be having any sign in issues.

    It's possible that your internet service provider is blocking xbox.com and other Xbox Live services or your firewall program is blocking the ability to sign into xbox.com.

    Do you happen to have the Xbox App for Windows 10 or the mobile app? If you do try signing in there and see what happens.

    Install Explorer

    1. From Xbox Home, go to Apps and select Browse Apps.

    Gaming Services is Terrible and Doesn't Work

    I got a temporary workaround and that is to reset the app every time I close it because I can access games no problem and even download them but not be able to delete them, but once I close the app, the whole thing experiences issues telling me to download Gaming Services, frankly the issue has spread to Roblox blocking my ability to use voice chat and causing desktop issues on select games
