    Can you/are you going to bring back 15 character gamertags?


    I don't know who came up with the idea to copy Discord, but they made a terrible decision, I hate the new system, I think 15 character gamertags need to stay. Please just bring this back, I can care less about the reasoning, it is dumb and should NOT have
    been changed. Also, to top it off you plan to ruin the xbox 360 trick to get the gamertags we want? Seriously? I'm close to just selling my stuff and going to Sony. You are spitting in our faces, some of us just haven't realized it yet.

    Is there anyway to get rid of the 12 character Xbox one gamertag and keep the 15 character Xbox 360 one only?

    Once you change your gamertag within the 12 character policy, there is no way to remove it and go back to only the 15 characters.

    Wanted my Xbox gamertag shortened, now its only longer.

    So is there no way to revert the change I made, and go back to my old gamertag (TheDarkCoder4)?
    You can go back to your previous gamertag, you’ll jusy need to pay to do this or you can create a new account with the gamertag you wish to use. :)

    Please also note: Since the gamertag system change, The character limit has been changed to 12 from 15.

    You technically still have the 15 character limit. The gamertag that appears on the system and apps is 12 characters, yes, but you're able to change your gamertag for games not supporting the new gamertag change. You should see

    a prompt     to customize your gamertag. The one you're changing when selecting said prompt will be the gamertag that appears in games and can go up to 15 characters.

    Yeah bro only 12 characters, but if you pay with Cash your changue of Gamertag you can use 15 characters .

    Why only 12 alphabets gamertag please change it to 16 Because my last gamertag was of 13 and now I cannot take it back

    If you change your gamertag on a Xbox 360 you can still have the 15 character limit but other than that you are limited to 12 characters.
