Can Xbox support bring up old messages?

Hello all, just wondering if xbox support can get old messages up in which have been deleted by mistake. Or do they go off the system all together after they have been deleted.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about Xbox Customer Support bringing up old messages on your account.

This is not a service that Customer Support can provide for you with the tools they have at their disposal.

If you deleted a message that included a code that you needed to redeem, this code is now gone and you will be unable to recover it.

This also applies to messages sent by other individuals.

I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

Try contacting xbox customer support about the message and the gift card and see if they can bring any light to the issue.
