    Can xbox games that are playable on PC able to be modded?


    I just purchased the PC version of Btd6 from the Xbox app. Besides the interest of playing for the first time, I am interested in if it can be modded like if it were purchased on Epic Games or Steam. I cannot find a solid answer to my question. Every guide I have looked at is for the Epic or Steam variant. I try my best to mimic the guide the best I can but get stuck when looking for the game in my files. I cannot find the files for the game, all I find is the shortcut to desktop. Are Xbox games purchased with PC compatibility in the same problem as console Xbox where no games can be modded except for the very select few games like Skyrim and Fallout?

    You should be able to download the games that are playable on your PC if they were purchased on your account and not a friend's account.

    Keep in mind that Game Pass is designed for consoles. There is no Game Pass for PC. The only games you will be able to play on PC are Play Anywhere games. The majority of the collection is playable only on consoles.

    ...and now I just read that Fallout 4's PC version mods will be playable on the Xbox One. That's, pretty big news.

    Of course, hopefully I won't upload and use any of them until way past the end game. We'll see. lol
