    Can we possibly get just random Backwards Compatibility drops?


    If any are worked on launch them when they are ready. No need to rush them. Have those be side projects they don't need to be released in a specific time frame if devs have the time to work on them outside of other projects they could be like helping the community by allowing smaller devs or devs working in the emulator community put time into backwards compatible versions too or possibly the ability to play a game directly from the disc rather than a downloaded version of said game. There are far too many Original Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are unplayable without an original Xbox, Xbox 360 or a decent PC/emulator. Can we at least have an official version of emulators to play on the console or PC itself. I know its a difficult thing to ask for but the whole Xbox, Emulation, retro/modern retro gaming communities would greatly benefit from something like this. These ways we can play these games officially through the console that can already play so many great older titles. These things should definitely be looked into. I'd love to play all of my older Xbox 360 games on the Series X without going into Dev Mode to attempt to do so.

    Since the backwards compatibility program has been put on hold so that the team can focus on Project Scarlett we won't see any more games added to the list, until Scarlett is released at the earliest. Best to get in touch with the games developers and/or
    publishers and ask them about the possibility of making the game backwards compatible in the future.

    It's likely they just haven't gotten around to making it backwards compatible, and it might be possible it wasn't a popular game so maybe there wouldn't be much attention to it if it was made backwards compatible. It's likely the first one though, I'm

    Xbox 360 backwards compatible

    We would all like to see our favourite games become compatible, but sometimes it just isn't possible due to licence restrictions or the developer/publisher are no longer around.

    Backward compatibility is currently on hold due to the teams working on the new Xbox Series X console. Hopefully when the console is released, then the backward compatibility program will resume.

    Until then, everyone is stuck with the games that are compatible now.
