    Can we get more real time strategy games on next gen, I mean wasn't age of Empires made by...


    Just wondering really Age of Empires 4 is developed by Xbox game studio's so why isn't available on console's, they're pretty powerful right and who knows maybe bring the Total War franchise to next gen, surely the y can handle it, AoE4 I don't get why there isn't a console version.

    Choosing the right game.

    Does 'strategy base' game refer to games like Age of Empires and Command and Conquer? Those are far, far better on PC (or only on PC) but worth a shot if that's an option.

    Loved Age of Empires II and Command and Conquer 3. AoE2 is cheap as hell and great fun if you do like strategy games.

    This forum has been negative for quite some time, far ahead of even the next gen reveal. It's unfortunate really, it's hard to have good conversations anymore without people trolling and being disrespectful.

    Yep it is a real shame, I mean we will never all agree all of the time but arguing over games/console is as childish as it gets. I mean a very good friend on mine in the 'real world' is opting for the PS4 ( I'm getting both consoles ) but we are still going
    out next week for a few beers and catch up :)

    Just a pity that alot of people on here can learn to "Agree to Disagree" ...

    The quote is “help build and lead the team for a new AAA title within an established and well-loved strategy game franchise.”

    Halo isn't a strategy game franchise. It's an FPS game franchise with one strategy spin-off. This is more likely for Age of Empires which is a strategy game franchise.

    Also Microsoft shut down Ensemble Studios a couple of years so which internal or external studio would be developing this?
