can u download your game from the xbox store website and then play them on your console?

The information on my xbox account is correct i just cecked it all i have a game from xbox store website it worked fine thanks for your help

No As you can only queue the game from the website to download onto your console

This is an important factor

What region do you live in and does it match your account region

If not that would be why

No. If you download a game from the cloud(purchasing the digital copy of that game), you can play that game on any console by signing in with your account.

Hello, Thanks for posting on Microsoft Forum. You need to purchase a game from the Xbox store to play it Or if you got the game pass you can download games from the Xbox game pass app on Xbox. If you purchased games and downloaded them you can see them
through my apps and game on your console.

You can do both! Just remember, if you have a game disc then you can install and run the game using the disc. If you don't have a disc, you can purchase the game from the Xbox Store right from your console or from the Xbox website. Just to clarify, owning
the game on disc does not entitle you to a digital copy/download of the game. 'Digital copies' will have to be purchased from the Store before you can download and play them, even if you already own that game on disc. Digital copies once purchased can be downloaded
as many times as you want, whenever you want. Hope this makes things clearer!
