Currently this title is not part of the backwards compatible catalog, you can go to xbox.uservoice.com and request this game become part of the backwards compatible catalog.

Yes you can, you can view them from the game/app section of the Xbox One dashboard. This function also includes backwards combatable games from the Xbox 360 console that have been previously bought and are a part of the backwards compatible program. Great

Hello, I can understand your want for these games the Lego games are great fun. Xbox has an official site dedicated to making suggestions, including backwards compatible games. I would suggest upovting and commenting on titles you want to be backward compatible
there. The site is https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/298503-backward-compatibility/ . If you don't find the title in the search
you can create a new post.

No, it was put on the store for a month then taken down. Even a mod stated skate three was backwards compatible: Mister Retr0 ADMIN

The issue you may be having is I don't believe that Battle Block Theater is part of the backwards compatibility program. You can find a full list of backwards compatible games here. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility
