it says cant read update from your storage device. please reinsert it to continue the update. But when i press the middle Xbutton it wont let me go to settings. When i press any button nothing will happen. then only thing i can do is turn off the xbox and

Yeah, I can't believe that they left this simple and HIGHVALUE feature out. I've had it happen 3 times already in the middle of BF4 play. Once the I was piloting a loaded chopper fast and low then boom... Fun times... Please fix the console in the next

I would love to add to taidara's post. You can re install the update as well which this can be the last reason to the connection issue. Doing this will reinstall the update some times the update will install and glitch or bug out on you at times.

So in order to do this follow the below steps please.

1. Go to your Xbox Dashboard
   
2. Hit the middle button on your Xbox Live controller
   
3. Go to where it says settings on (scroll all the way to the right)
   
4. Now hit system settings
5. Go to where it says storage and high light Hard Drive (or the unit device you use for your Xbox console but mainly the Hard Drive is the default)
   
6. Now on your controller hit the following buttons in this exact order LB RB X LB RB X
   

I really hope this helps out a lot.
