    Can the Xbox team make a way to get rid of the on-screen keyboard that appears when typing?


    I use Microsoft edge on Xbox quite a bit and would like to be able to turn off the on-screen keyboard when typing. I use a mouse and keyboard, so I don't

    need the on-screen one. As of right now, I can't find a way to turn it off, I just see an option to change the size of the on-screen keyboard, but not turn it off.

    I do have the latest Xbox and Edge version.

    Currently there's no option to remove the on screen keyboard on the Xbox, but if you press bon the controller it should hide when you will use the keyboard

    I meant that when u type using keyboard on xbox edge browser a pop on screen keyboard also appears which blocks the screen i was asking if their was a way to remove that pop up keyboard when using a keyboard

    Friend, really the only way to remove this option is through the application itself.

    You can disable the on screen keyboard. Get the Windows 10 App, you can turn it off from there. It's under "settings" and under the headline "Typing on my Xbox."

    Afterwards, the keyboard option will stop appearing.

    Yes, thank you very much.

    I figured out a workaround to the tab refresh problem where I just add the website to exclusion list, and they will no longer be discarded.

    The main thing that annoys me is the keyboard popping up every time I type something. Especially on google docs or word for example where I am constantly either clicking or typing; the keyboard can get in the way. But hopefully Xbox will make an option to disable it on-screen.
