    The Xbox Adaptive Controller is compatible with Windows 10 computers and also with Windows 8.1 & Windows 7 Pc's but will have limited functionality.     Unfortunately, they can only be used on gaming. It cannot be used for other applications outside gaming.

    If they can fit into each other then can one adapter be used for the console from the other model? i.e., 135w adapter on a console that accepts 120w?

    That's not a solution, but workaround.

    Pretty dangerous too, if you use the machine for anything more than gaming (i.e. web browsing, IM, mail, online shopping, web banking...).
