Can the refund money be returned to my bank account?

In this case, you have two options, my friend. You can either talk to your bank or financial institution and ask them why the money that returned to your account is not there anymore. Or, you can talk to Xbox support and see why the refunded money is not showing on your bank account anymore.

Did you - or the child, actually - use your credit card to pay for the order? Sometimes the money will get back to your credit card as a refund on the next credit card invoice, and not to your bank account. Refund requests will always return the money to the payment method used for the purchase.

While the refund may have been approved by Xbox support, it can take some time for the money to be returned to your account. This can depend on your bank, but 3 - 5 business days tends to be the usual amount of time before you'll see the refunded money.

It means that the refund will be sent to the method you originally used to pay for the item.

If you paid for it using currency from your account then it will be returned there. If you used a credit/debit card to pay then the money will be returned to that method. You would need to keep an eye on your bank for more info on the refund there

thankyou had to send a refund request as it said my order was on the 29/03 however the money was not taken until 14/04. Hopefully this will sort things out as i dont want to have to go through my bank for the refund in case it affects my account in the
future if i decided to return to xbox.
