    My son was recently prema banned on Xbox live. He has created a new account but was recently interested in purchasing a series s/x. He had around $100 usd on his banned account from gift cards and was wondering if he could use that money to contribute even though it was a banned account.

    I'm sorry but why exactly is it only post 15th you keep your stuff. Why not allow all of the accounts to get back but at 7 strikes. I understand this is off topic I just find it odd on Microsoft's end.

    If he's able to sign into the store with his account yes, otherwise, no. Anything on an account is forfeit once it's been banned.

    Basivally everyone post 15th was given a clean slate

    But permanent suspensions still are issued but you get more warning certain offences still result in a permanent suspensions though but would still have to be eregious or severe

    Ok, so he can sign into the Microsoft store. A local grocery store near us is doing a promotion on gift cards. Can you still put that money on the account to use towards the xbox?
