Can`t uninstall Assassin`s Creed Unity Dead Kings

I saw that Assassin`s Creed Unity Dead Kings was free and downloaded it.

Thing is that I don`t have the main game, but since the download option was available, I thought that I didn`t need the main game to play it.

After installing it, I can`t either play the dlc or uninstall it.

There should be an option to uninstall it or xbox live store should check if you have the main game before allowing you to download dlc.

Please help me/fix this issue.

Ok, so AC:U got off ot a bit of a shaky start, there were reports of lots of glitches and bugs (personally I only encounterd one bug about three times in all the time I've played it) but Ubisoft have released the DLC Dead Kings for free. If you have the
game, get the content. Ubi rarely disappoint

 

Hi there! I've never tried uninstalling only DLC, but to uninstall everything else, find it in My Games and Apps, press the Menu button, Choose Manage, choose Internal, and Uninstall. I don't know if the DLC will show up in My Games and Apps without the
main game though.

 

Hey there, Flemino! I'm very sorry to see that you are unable to remove the Dead Kings DLC from your console! There are a few ways that you will be able to remove this.

You can borrow the disc based version of the game, install it, and then uninstall both from the Manage option that Ken posted in here.

You can have a friend who owns the digital version of the game download their profile and the game onto your console, and then do the same as above.

You can restore your console to factory defaults, but this will require you to install everything else onto your console again.

You are more than welcome to purchase the game to gain access to the Manage section for it as well; however it is not a suggested troubleshooting step unless you plan on playing the game.

Lastly, to help make your voice heard, I suggest making a post on our
Feedback site suggesting that a way to access DLC without having the base game be implemented.
