Can someone help me troubleshoot the dev mode activation? (xbox series s)

Please make sure that both your Xbox and PC are connected to a stable internet connection.

Restart your router and try again.

And then clear browser cache. On your PC, clear your browser's cache and cookies. This can resolve loading issues on the activation page.

Alternatively, try using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, or Firefox).

Next is to verify Microsoft Account by making sure you are signed into the same Microsoft account on both your Xbox and the activation website.

Then restart the Dev Mode activation app. On your Xbox, close and reopen the Dev Mode Activation app.

Generate a new activation code and try entering it again.

It is also important that your Xbox is running the latest system update. To check on this, go to Settings > System > Updates and check for updates.

Kindly use a different device. If the activation page keeps loading indefinitely on your PC, access it on a different device, such as a smartphone or tablet.

Before we start, can you confirm if you have already enrolled in the Xbox Development Program and have been approved as a developer?

In the meantime, it's important to note that in order to activate Dev Mode on your Xbox Series X, you need to have a valid Dev Center account. If you don't have one, you'll need to sign up for one before you can proceed with the activation process.

Get Registered



Assuming you have a valid Dev Center account, let's move on to the activation process. When you navigate to aka.ms/activatexbox, you should be brought to a page where you can enter the activation code that you received when you purchased your Dev Mode Activation License. If you're not seeing this page, there could be a few reasons why.



One possibility is that you're not signed-in to your Dev Center account. Make sure that you're signed-in to your account before navigating to aka.ms/activatexbox. If you're not signed in, you may be redirected to the Xbox development consoles tab in Microsoft Partner Center instead of the activation page.



Another possibility is that there may be an issue with the link itself. Try navigating to the activation page directly by going to partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/development/xbox/activation. This should take you directly to the activation page where you can enter your activation code.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I’m trying to install an Xbox Live profile. For xbox 360. Gears. On series S. Reinstalling. I read to clear cache. Then sign in. I think retroarch is in the windows store. On dev mode. So, it’s safe? I won’t erase Dev Mode? Thanks again!
