Can someone help me set up new headphones to xbox

Type the name of the headset into youtube and see if there's any tutorial for you to watch, it would help alot more

What headphones do you have?

If they are wired and you have an Xbox One S/X or All digital it should just connect into the audio jack.

Can you give a little more information please on how you need help and someone will be more than happy to give advice here

Also, have you checked to see if the settings, such as the volume of the headset is turned up all the way or if it's on mute? Someone might be using a headset that isn't compatible or someone is muted. To me, it might be someone is muted either your son
or the friend but I could be wrong on that. But check out the headphone settings just to be sure!
