Can “Signed-out content restrictions” block Microsoft Store?

I’m trying to place a restriction on my Xbox One. When no one is signed in, I would like to have the Microsoft Store app inaccessible (so previews of potentially inappropriate games or movies can’t be watched by my kids). That said, I have attempted
the following action to do this: I went on my parent account (on the xbox I’d like to set restrictions on) —> Under “Settings” I accessed “System” —> Under “System” I accessed “Signed-out content restrictions” —> I then set a “guest passkey” so as to access
the “Access to content” option —> I finally set this to “Restricted”. From what I see, this claims to lock off all “games, apps, movies, and music” and so should have locked off any access to Microsoft Store. This maneuver, however, did nothing for my purpose
(all game and movie previews are still available to view on Microsoft Store when in ‘Signed-out’ mode). Any thoughts on how I can secure this? Thx!

    :)

Hey Jaydad17, thx for your reply.

Could you explain what you mean by “state”? Do you mean I could potentially remove the app from the “signed-out” state of the xbox? If so, do you think the app might still be accessible through the accounts on the xbox once you’d sign in to one of them?
Not looking to completely wipe Microsoft Store off my xbox entirely.. (just disable during signed-out times).

    Inappropriate Store access for children

    I went to Setting > Systems> Signed-out content restrictions.

The Access to content was set to Restricted.

and the Let people download & make new accounts box was unticked.

If I'm signed out and I try to start a game it asks Enter the guest key. However I can still go to the Store, without entering the guest key, and watch age inappropriate movies.

    Microsoft Store Content Restrictions

    Hello!

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you've set up restrictions on your child accounts and they seem to not being reflected in the store. Is there a chance that an adult account is also signed in when looking
through the content? The content rated above the allowed maturity level should not be appearing in the store. Make sure the child accounts are set to the appropriate age and that it is the only account signed in.
