can restore my data if I do factory reset

In order to restore your data after the factory reset, sign in to your Microsoft Xbox account on your console. Your data is backed up to the online Xbox Cloud storage automatically when connected to the internet and syncs that data back once you start your game again.

All saved data is backed up to Microsoft's servers in the Cloud.

Note: There are two types of factory resets:

1. A soft reset (Factory reset keep my games and apps) which resets the console but keeps all games and applications.

2. A complete reset (Factory reset remove everything.) which resets the console and removes everything. If you do a complete reset, you would have to re-install your games but save data will return when the specific game is installed.

Hi, it may be there is some corrupted data, a factory restore can often fix that problem, be sure to select the option to keep your games & apps though.

You will need to add any accounts back to the Xbox after doing the restore.

Factory default worked perfectly. I can finally re-establish my Artifact Assault dominance.

If you don't know how to do a Factory reset go to Settings > System > Restore Factory Defaults.

This does mean you will have to re-install all games onto your xbox which can take some time but all your data will be saved.

It's strange, have you tried to restore the console to
factory settings? In this way, the console should return to work. You can also keep the data related to applications or games, just select "Reset and keep my games & apps" option.
