can only download some games on game pass windows 10 and not others?

My pc can handle the games easily .

i stated that i am fully updated from date of post .

i have seen others saying a windows repiar install is the way forwarc to help this . Hoing to try tonight and will post results !!

My laptop also will run certain games and not others. I found this information on the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) website:

1) Some games require Windows 10 to be fully updated.

2) Check the individual game detail page to confirm if your machine specifications and operating system version meet the minimum requirements set forth by the developer.

Not only does Win 10 LTSC not get updates very often, it' is also missing the Windows Store.

Game Pass on PC uses the Windows 10 Store to download the games, they don't download and install via the app. No Windows Store, no PC Game Pass compatabilty.

LTSC was designed for mission critical work tasks, not gaming.

You'll need one of the consumer versions of Windows 10 to use Game Pass.

I'm assuming you mean the Xbox beta App, so you can play games on Xbox game pass for PC or Ultimate. You need the latest Windows 10 version to be able to install the app, there is no other way. Also that app is only so you can find and install the games
from game pass easier. You can still find and download the games from the Microsoft store app, but they may not work without the latest version of Windows installed.

Do you own the game or are you trying it via the PC Game Pass? If its via the Game Pass are you trying to download via the Game Pass App? Do you get an error code or does nothing happen? Can you download and install other Windows 10 apps and games?

As for the Game directory, you won't find it with a search. Windows 10 Apps and games are stored in the hidden WindowsApps folder located in C:\Program Files on the OS hard drive or in the root directory of any other drives you've installed Windows Apps
and games to.

You can gain access to this WindowsApps folder by changing its permissions, but I would only attempt this if you know what you're doing. Incorrectly changing the permissions can make these folders no longer work with the Windows 10 App Store.
