    Can not see my friend online for PS4 PC crossplay


    I have just recently bought Minecraft for windows 10 so I can play with my friend who plays on PS4. My friend connected his PS4 account to his Microsoft account successfully so we could play together. We were both already added as friends on Xbox before
    he linked his Microsoft account with his PS4 account.

    I was able to create a new world in Minecraft on my PC and my friend was able to see me online and join my game. The issue is my friend also has a world on his PS4 that I want to join, but I can not see him online at all. He does not appear in my friends
    list in Minecraft and he does not even appear online in my friends tab in my Xbox console companion even though he is online and in game on his PS4. He also does not see any messages I send him through the Xbox console companion, but somehow he is able to
    receive Minecraft game invites from me and I can not see any Minecraft invites he sends to me.

    Also on another note his username on the PS4 and Microsoft accounts are different and I do not know if that has anything to do with it but if any info helps.

    Are your crossplay communication settings enabled?

    - In game. Go to the account tab.

    - Under the online section, set crossplay to Enabled.

    If you can see an option named crossplay Communication, make sure it’s set to Enabled. (If your friend isn’t gaming on PC, make sure he or she has enabled this feature as well.)
