Can not purchase MiceCraft Java Edition on Mac

Thank you JosefLBohorquez for your reply. I added a new account and my son's as organizer. But I can not grant permission or other setting since 'Location not shared', it asked me to download Family safety app to share the location. It doesn't make any sense. And I can not pay 'Minecraft: Java Edition' on official website by using my son's account. My son is only 12 years old and how could he be the organizer. The whole process and UX really sucks! Can not believe it is from Microsoft.

That's the first time previous steps doesn't work.

May I know if you changed your sons year date too?

Could you use your sons account on incognito mode and then remove himself on the family tab.

Then open a new incognito mode and try again add him as organizer.

And it would be nice try waiting couple hours or even until tomorrow in case Microsoft servers are still processing this recent change on his account.

Pease try this:

Create a new account that can be considered as an adult account (try using another web browser or incognito mode).

Once done, add your main account (sons) as organizer via the link below. (you can see in the new account an "add member" button

Please double check that you select your main account as organizer too, not member.

Once successfully added, sign out from your account everywhere and restart your PC
Then log in your account again and try downloading the game.

Just to double check, please check if birthdate is more than 18

If the launcher is available for the Mac, then you won't need to purchase Java edition, as the game is included with Game Pass Ultimate anyway. If you log in with the account you got ultimate with, then you can launch the Java edition from the launcher.

Hi Victor. I don’t know how you played Java in the past. Maybe it was via game pass.
But if the game doesn’t appear purchased in your order history, it means that you don’t know it.

About the Xbox edition, yes. It’s bedrock, but it’s the Bedrock for Xbox, not Windows

The free Java edition was granted to the people who purchased Bedrock for windows.
Any other platform is not eligible, only PC (and the opposite if you owned Java)
