Can not play groove music

I can't play music that I have already downloaded. I have a monthly subscription and have never had an issue playing back music downloaded on my tablet. I do not have an Xbox. All music is on my tablet. Today I got the can't play icon and code 0xc00d3e85

The only issue I've ever had is that it doesn't play the song selected at times. It will play the next song. I would really like to get this sorted out since I've been paying for this subscription and normally I enjoy the app.

Forza Horizon 3 Groove Music Playlist not working

Hi guys!

Groove Music radio is not aviable for me. I don't have Groove Music radio and Groove Music playlist in audi settings. Groove playlist shuffle option not working also. Can i somehow use Groove Music Radio in FH3 in Poland? Leave a comment if you need more

To play your music on groove, you need to upload your music to the OneDrive cloud service, and then start groove. It should find the music from your OneDrive, and then you should be able to play it.

On December 31, 2017, the option to stream, purchase, and download music from Groove Music was discontinued. If your purchased music was downloaded, you’ll still be able to listen to it. The app is still updated and you can still play purchased music that
you were able to download from the service before 12/31/17.

If the playlist was downloaded before 12/31/17 then I don't see why it wouldn't still work on Forza Horizon 3. Forza Support will have more information on this if they did in fact remove this feature from the game once the service of Groove Music was discontinued.

There are other apps that support background music besides Spotify though.

According to this site, VLC, Groove, iheartradio, and Pandora support the feature. Additionally, there is the Simple Background Music Player app that lets allows for playback from USB devices.

That app plays audio files in both M4A and MP4 formats, in addition to MP3, WMA, and FLAC.

In regards to Groove, it doesn't sound like you can stream anymore.

I do know that you can move your music onto the one drive and play it on your xbox without having a groove music pass. but I as well cannot get my console to play background music even using the groove app. if anyone has some ideas or knows why, please let
me know.
