can not open Game bar

Sir, Thanks for your advise. I remember that I have updated the Xbox Game bar app from the Microsoft store. After the installation, the date shown in the setting page > Apps > Xbox Game Bar is the latest.

However, I don't know whether the OS is the latest, I will check it after work today. I will update the status this night. Thanks a lot.

You may need to update it in the Microsoft Store. Otherwise make sure your computer is up to date and try to uninstall and reinstall it from the store.

OK. not sure what different I done but can now get the game bar to open but it won't record anything despite me tinkering with the settings.

Could someone please share what settings they have to successfully record game play clips.

This was a feature that worked great for me but no longer works....

Hi Oldman, can you tell us what version of the app you are using? What exactly is occurring when your trying to record, do you experience any type of error messages or does the app crash etc?

Hello, did you try checking the Game bar's Settings? It might be the case that the Game bar Record game clips and screenshots setting is switched off. Then the Game bar isn't going to open when you press its hotkey. So you can check that option as
follows. Open the Xbox app by clicking its Start menu tile.
