    Can not load custom roster into offline franchise mode


    I get my rosters set, save my roster, load the roster in load/delete files screen and then start an offline or online franchise mode, select the import roster option and it always loads the default roster. Anyone else having this problem? I've found several
    people online that are having the same issue. This also means I can not import a created player into either of these game modes. Very frustrating and if not fixed I will consider trading this game in, what a waste of money it will be and it will be the last
    Madden game I ever buy.

    Does anyone have any clue about this? I have the same issue as the OP.

    I cannot find ANY way to get a current/updated roster into an offline franchise. The two options are "use default" which defaults to what game with the disc (way out of date) and "import custom." This second option doesn't appear to work. Every time I try
    it I am not given an option to select which custom roster I want to use. It just blindly does some import without giving any additional info, then the stats are still old/wrong/out of date.

    Has anyone resolved this? I imagine there are many of us who'd like to play franchise mode offline with updated rosters but can't. Any help would be appreciated.

    Roster Updates

    When there are rosters updates you need to delete the previous roster and load the new roster before starting a Franchise. When you are already doing a franchise and are already a few years into it, a new roster update isn't going to make a difference since
    your franchise rosters are already changed from your gameplay.

    having the same problems, but they havent released a patch yet so hopefully it will be corrected. We always say we wont buy it again lol, but what other option do we have.

    Sleeping Dogs actually looks pretty decent

    Most years this is true, but not this year. Madden '13 has gotten rid of Superstar, Offline Franchise, and Online Franchise modes. They've been replaced by Connected Careers Mode which is a completely new game mode. The mode looks to be an overall improvement
    over the Franchise/Superstar modes, but they've removed several features from previous games such as: Roster editing (you can edit in the main menu, but you must use in EA's rosters in CCM which is the only career mode), Importing from NCAA, multiple team
    control, couch co-op (the only way to have two people on one console is Play Now), custom playbooks, and fantasy drafts.



    Whether or not it'll be better than Madden '12 is anyone's guess, but this year will be very different from last year.

    How play current roster AND current schedule in Madden 2012

    You need to access the Madden Online feature, then go down to "Download Rosters". This will download the most current roster. If you have more than one roster you need to Load the current one you want before starting Franchise Mode.
