Can not get Xbox app to load on my second computer using a different windows log in

Xbox app is requesting I purchase another live service. Windows 11

I went into my browser logged in to the live website. Did a second factor verification. Then re opened the app and it said my windows log in did not match my live log in and showed I needed to purchase the Xbox service.

I previously had the Xbox app working on both my living room computer and the game room computer. Both computers have a different log in for windows as they are completely different machines.

Please try and double check this:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update
Click Check for Updates

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too. (Click on get updates)

Now, sign out from your account on both Xbox app and Microsoft Store and do this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Finally do this:

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

Restart the PC, and try to sign in again on both Microsoft store and Xbox app with your account

What second service are you referring?
If possible please share a picture showing us the message (don’t forget to conceal personal information including the email address)

And please tell me:

Are you using windows 10 or 11?
And, what did you tried so far to fix this
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

Hey there Larsen! When using Windows 8, it will automatically log you into the Xbox account associated with the Microsoft Account you used on the computer. If you want to use a different account, you need to log into Windows with that MSA. Then your Xbox

Hey Lean Knight! I'm afraid you can only use one account here, you cannot sign into an alternate MS account in the Games App while logged into a different account on the computer. My suggestion here is to create a Windows 8 user login using your Xbox LIVE
