Can not download games

I bought 2 games, Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 and can not download them. It starts, then stops and says "Can not Download" and disappears off the download list. I have tried numerous times. My connection is fine, I have plenty of space on the HD,
etc. etc. We would like to actually play the games at some point.

Is this still part of the problem from when the service went down?

Can not download ANY GAMES!

Try reseating the harddrive. Just make sure the console is off, and then remove the harddrive and put it back in. Make sure there's no corrupted file, clear the system cache(select harddrive with y), then redownload your profile (sign out of your profile
if you are signed into it, then bring the guide up and select download profile. this will fix any discrepancies that might be surrounding your gamertag/profile by refreshing the data on the console.)

After that, try redownloading the content.

Ah, I almost forgot. I did not spend those Microsoft points that I got a refund for. I bought my new game with the credit card alone, from on demand.

Yes it does. I also cleared the cache 3 times, unplugged the system then restarted, tested the connection:

http://billing.microsoft.com and
http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues. After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that account , console and code region match, using different regions van cause issues too, since it did mention something about the language this is most likely the cause.
