Can not connect UK Xbox one in France

Any support welcome since i can't reconnect after moving from UK to France, it detect well Wi-Fi but even restarting with France as a location does not enter into the system . Thanks

Account blocked - new X box + old X box

Hi everyone

i am seeking your advice, as I bought a new Xbox (in UK where i live) one and left my previous Xbox (in France).

My brother tried to use the old one with my account in France and as a result my new Xbox is blocked in UK. The message Inget when teying to connect is : « this account is already used. Do uou want to create another ? »

whzt could be a solution ? I do not want to erase my profile, losing all my on line credentials and progression since a couple of years ...

Xbox pushed one in Belgium !

should have got pushed back in places that dont care about the xbox one like uk / france instead

Hi there,

usually it shouldn't matter to what region the console is set to connect to Xbox Live, so there might be more going on.

When you say that the console isn't entering the system, do you mean that the console doesn't boot up at all?

If so, then try the next few steps

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

If that doesn't help a thing, please try to run a network test on the console (if possible) and then please specify what exactly isn't working as expected

Hi, you can buy the xbox where you want (in Europe all the xbox are equivalent), you will only need the correct power cable for the different states.

In the settings of the console you can set your region as "France" and your language as "English", doing this will let you play the games in english and buy the game from the French store in € with a French method of payment, if you will travel in the UK
all the games and subscription that you have active on your account will work since are not region locked.

The only problem is that if you buy a gift card or for the UK store you will not be able to redeem it if your console if it is set as located in France, to redeem it you need to change the region in the settings as "UK". All the games that you redeem in
UK or in France will be availble on your account forever and worldwide.

Basically you can set the xbox with the region that you prefer based on which method of payment you have, if you have only French credit card I suggest you to set the region as France, if you have only UKs cards set it as UK

Thank you for reaching out to us here on the forums with this inquiry. I understand you purchased Black Ops 4 from France and are in the UK with a UK Xbox One. Games can be region locked so there is a chance that the game will not work. Let us know with

UK games but is your account region UK?

Your physical region has to be UK too not German or France

Xbox live regions goes by countries not continents and they must be the same
