    Hello Support,

    I can not connect the xbox one to my wifi network.

    It started from the beginning. (just bought it on 14th Nov. 2017) So I connected the xbox to my wifi when it was brand new. After turning it off for the first time, it did not remember the wifi password and I had to configure the network again and again
    and again on the following days. I tried to turn the xbox off and on again. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.

    the problem: now I can't even connect to my wifi any more ... this is annoying, because I paid for the xbox live gold membership -.-

    Never had any problems like that before with the xbox360.

    PS: the call-back function is cool, but useless, when I have to wait for 15 more minutes and nobody is talking to me. After these 15 mins you dropped the call - great! Can not connect to Wifi?! + wifi password is not being remembered :(

    I have since changed my setup around. Instead of connecting to the streaming router through Wifi I now do it through ethernet so now when I put in the ethernet cable I get knocked off my main router which is perfect and then when I want to go back to my
    main router so I can use XBox live I just plug out the ethernet cable and the XBox just automatically connects back onto my main network! It seems the XBox will only remember one Wifi profile. I am happy anyway because no more typing in long WPA2 keys.

    I have my main router which I use for XBox live and all the internet stuff but then I have a second router with no internet access just Wifi enabled which I use for streaming media so I don't slow everyone else in the houses internet down.

    The problem is lets say I am connected to my main router which has the internet and now I want to stream a movie from my laptop over the network, I go to the network area of the console and I disconnect from my main router and select the streaming router
    but it asks me to input my password even though I did that already and then I put in my password I connect fine and then when I want to go back to my main router I have to put in the WPA2 key again which is very long.

    Is the XBox not just supposed to remember network profiles like the way every laptop and smartphone does?

    Any help would be great thanks.

    But I had a similar Issue.

    I take my xbox one to my friends crib & always have to re enter the passwords.

    It's funny that they wouldn't have It remember them,the 360 slim did.

    Hopefully they'll fix that In the update.

    Sorry to say but your Xbox will not remember network profiles.. The WPA2 key will need to be entered every time you change networks. I keep a post-it note with my console...

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have a question on the Xbox WIFI. Unfortunately, if you switch WIFI connections, you will need to enter password when you switch back etc. As the console does not remember these automatically.
