Can no longer access Microsoft games account after migrating email to Microsoft 365 Business

I am using my account that I created before migrating to Microsoft 365 business.

I can replicate the issue.

(1) Create an account with an email account that you own the domain with.
(2) Create a Microsoft game account with email from step 1
(3) Transfer said domain to a Microsoft 365 Business account
(4) Setup email from step 1 above
(5) Try to log into the same Microsoft game account from step 1 AND get prompted with "You can not use a Work or School account" or no access at all

If you didn't do step (2) above, and you tried to create a games account after already being in Microsoft 365 Business, then you would be blocked by "No Work or School email accounts" and you would have to use some other email account that is not tied to Microsoft.

Please go ahead, spend a few bucks on buying a domain, setup email, setup game account, and then transfer to Microsoft 365. Luckily you can get a trial of Microsoft business for a few days, and verify that my process is repeatable and you no longer have access to the Microsoft Games account because Microsoft 365 has taken over and doesn't allow any gaming with business. (Remember to clear your cache or use a separate computer after migrating to Microsoft 365)

This sends me down a series of questions, but the number one of them, so Businesses that are in the business of making games, must not use Microsoft for their email and business platform, or did Microsoft just ruin a bunch of businesses when they tried to migrate to Microsoft 365?

I would beg to differ a little on that. I had a Mojang account, migrated it to Microsoft Games account, everything worked because I currently have a running Realms account and monthly bill that I started before migrating my email to a Microsoft 365 Business account.

I am no longer able to access the Microsoft Games account because my email account is considered a Work account because it is running on Microsoft 365.

Had access prior to Microsoft Games account and all was right in the world.

Migrated my email to Microsoft 365 Business and more and more becomes wrong in the world. I am unable to get into my Games account, I am unable to cancel my Realms monthly billing, and I don't want to get started with the issues I have with Microsoft 365. Because Microsoft's decisions of "This is for work, so personal stuff is a no no" is extremely frustrating.

actually in that site if you select windows and then business support as that would be your case it takes you to log in and then a form to fill out your request

if you select Microsoft 365 something similar happens and in that if you choose a business support you cant log with a personal account

on Xbox support you have the support site then the contact us and you will have options of how you wanna contact doesn't take you directly to the bot unless you don't sign with any Microsoft account and even then you can ask to talk to a person to any bot you find, but you are choosing community forums

That's what takes you to the second step, you are trying to use a business account on the Microsoft login options you should use the Microsoft account to which you migrated the Minecraft account to, using the same email and password you used on that process, if you haven't Migrated your Minecraft account, you should contact Mojang support
