    Me and my brother share our live and games and such, like the home console stuff. Sadly, the Xbox store is not working for me so I can’t buy Destiny 2: Forsaken BUT our friend was able to buy. If he buys the game and gifts it to us, will we be able
    to download it?

    My Xbox is the home one and my brothers console is the one who gets my live subscription and games. Will he be able to get this DLC too (like if I was the one to buy it)?

    A good friend of mine, who i met online, wanted to surprise me for my birthday and bought an Xbox gift card for me. Problem is, he lives in Turkey so the currency is different. So I thought that it would be useless for me. I later on found that u can still
    redeem gift cards from different regions, you just need to change your location. So I changed my settings and redeemed the gift card on the turkish Xbox store. But when i then wanted to buy a game, i couldnt use the money in my Microsoft account, even though
    i had plenty. I kept seeing different patiënt options. Can someone please help me, i’m clueless.

    Do codes for specific Xbox One games work if you put it into the game's Microsoft Store Page on PC?

    A friend of mine is going to gift me Sea of Thieves for my B-Day. This is the first time either of us have used the Microsoft Store. I was trying to find a way for him to gift me the game, and I searched many different places to find anyway of doing so.
    In the end, I noticed that you can redeem a code on the Sea of Thieves store page, but the only codes that I found were ones for the Xbox. So, I was wondering if it was possible to buy that code and input into the PC store page and have the game be played

    He should be able to gift you the dlc however you won't be able to redeem it until the store is fixed for you.

    Also, he had to be in the same country to gift it to you

    The short answer: you cant

    The long answer: gifting is region locked (something your friend would have gotten a warning about before completing the purchase) so a friend with an account in one country would only be able to gift to other friends with an account in the same country.

    Your friend would have to request a refund from their end.

    How come xbox will allow you to pay for a digital gift, but wont work in other countries due to geo fencing

    Is there a way people can gift from overseas or no becuase my friend gifted me a game overseas and i feel bad becuase he spent 60$ on the game to give it to me and it wont redeem just because he lives in a austria

    Hello Jesse, thank you for reply and advice ! I am sorry, but can you be little more specific with "a gift card of the subscription with the "Worldwide" tag" I got xbox just few days and I'm afraid that i didn't get this. My friend is in Argentina, he gave me some game codes as a gift, but when I tried to buy some gifts in console store for him I get same issues with region. Also I've tried to buy gift on xbox store from PC and get the same error.

    I think the main trouble is in currency of my debit card, because address of my microsoft account and region of store are the same. Is "a gift card of the subscription with the "Worldwide" tag" means that somewhere I can buy gift codes with no issues?
