    Can my friend get an appeal or shortened sentence?


    So my two friends [mod removed] and [mod removed] were messing around and [mod removed] said some weird things, not meant as insults but weird jokes and then [mod removed] reported it, also as a joke from what he told me. Now [mod removed] has a comms ban until 1/31/25 and they both feel bad,and seeing my friend get banned to where I can’t talk to them for a year hurts. I want to talk to him and I feel what he said was weird and while I didn’t see it all I don’t think it should be that long, it was inappropriate yes but a year is rough. I know there isn’t a high chance but I’m just hoping it can be reduced to sometime soon.

    They said they did and the appeal was denied, and I wanted to try and help them but this is the only way (that I know of) since I don’t want to ask for their personals. And while I know that means that there’s almost no chance I just wanted to try.

    You can file a single appeal, but that's all you can do for any enforcement action.

    i've never heard of a reduced sentence, only appeals overturning
